Can’t Sign in… Receiving an Internal Error Message

If you are getting an Internal Error whenever you try to access your NSC Student Center links (including make a payment, add a class, etc.) from your NSC Portal,  please clear your cache and allow cookies, then restart your browser.


Mobile devices and Chromebooks may require a full restart of the device. After restarting your browser, you should be able to log in.

Please note: Safari, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer have some known issues accessing NSC resources. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are recommended and free of cost.


Google Chrome:

Clear Browser Cache: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

Enable Cookies: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en (Click “Allow or block cookies” in the “Change your cookie settings” instructions)


Mozilla Firefox:

Enable Cookies: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-cookies-are-blocked-unblock-them#w_check-cookie-settings


If you do not have access to google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, or are still having problems accessing your student center after clearing your cache and allowing cookies, log in at the following link using your NSHE ID and the same password you use for your NSC Portal. This will allow you to log directly into your Student Center: https://mycolleges.shr.nevada.edu/psp/spcssprd/NSC/SA/h/?tab=GUEST
